1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FileDrop, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

FileDrop is a document request and file collection platform that allows users to create structured requests, share secure upload links, and track submission progress. The service includes various subscription tiers with different features and limits.

3. User Accounts

To use FileDrop, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Providing accurate and complete information
  • Representing your identity accurately and ensuring you are authorized to request files on behalf of the identity or organization you present
  • Notifying us of any unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use FileDrop to:

  • Upload or share illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Transmit malware or malicious code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Abuse, harass, or harm other users

5. Subscription and Payments

FileDrop offers various subscription tiers. By subscribing to a paid tier:

  • You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled

Cancellations

You may cancel at any time. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds

If you're not satisfied with FileDrop, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase. No questions asked. To request a refund, contact us at support@filedrop.direct.

Upgrades

Upgrades take effect immediately. You'll be charged a pro-rated amount based on the remaining time in your current billing period.

Plan Changes

Plans with different usage models (such as Team and Pro) cannot be downgraded. To switch to a different plan, you must cancel your current subscription and subscribe to the new plan.

6. User content

You retain ownership of all files and content you upload or receive through FileDrop.

FileDrop does not claim ownership of user content and does not access, review, or use uploaded files except as necessary to provide the service.

We do not sell, analyze, or monetize uploaded files.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FileDrop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
